When the in-house vacuum systems and tooling tricks that NMC Dynaplas usually deploys to deal with trapped gas failed, it turned to a Mold-Vac system and saw reject rates go from 44% to zero. PPS part shows noticeable flash prior to Dynaplas installing Mold-Vac system (right).

Worldwide Dispensers (Lester Prairie, MN) is a highly successful and fast growing manufacturer of high quality, plastic taps and related dispensing fitments. They have two facilities, one in the UK and one in the US. As a precision injection molding company, the Lester Prairie Division operates 40 molding machines ranging in tonnage from 25 to 390 tons. The 80-person division serves many industries including the medical, consumer and liquid packaging, and automotive.

Infinity Molding & Assembly, Inc. has grown from a start-up to a solution provider in the areas of plastic molding, secondary operations, and contract assembly. WORLD CLASS PLASTICS

World Class Plastics is a custom injection molder located in Russells Point, Ohio that houses 29 presses and employs 74 people. The company also operates a satellite plant in Rome, GA that houses three presses. All of the company’s presses range in size from 18-tons to 650-tons. Its customers are primarily automotive – doing most of its work for Honda. Both plants operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Miniature Precision Components (MPC), headquartered in Walworth, WI since 1972 is a leading designer and manufacturer of thermoplastic components, extruded tubing, and complete assemblies. The company specializes in manufacturing under-the-hood automotive parts such as oil cap assemblies, PCV valves, check valves, engine shields, and coolant components. Its customers include Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, Nissan, and Toyota.

WILDEN PLASTICS

Wilden AG, headquartered more than 50 years ago in Regensburg, Germany, heralds a credo of “quality in plastics.” It manufactures products for the automotive, technical, medical, cosmetics, and consumer health care industries. Wilden AG’s sales reached over $300 million in 2005. The company established Wilden Plastics in Peachtree, GA in 1993. Darrin Radcliffe is manager of quality and engineering at the site that manufactures automotive and medical device components. It employs approximately 60 people at its plastic injection molding facility.
